Write for us
Genuine Policy Journal welcomes pitches that clarify how public policy is framed, designed, discussed, carried out or assessed. We are looking for precise, readable work that gives readers a distinct question to follow.
What to pitch
We welcome explainers, comparisons, histories of policy ideas and close readings of a process or design choice. A strong proposal names the reader’s question, identifies its central argument, explains why the subject merits a focused piece and indicates the material needed to support it.
A clear and careful approach
Keep the scope manageable and distinguish documented facts from interpretation. Avoid assuming that an announcement equals delivery or that a single example settles a wider question. We do not seek promotional copy, unsupported claims or advice that requires readers to rely on a professional judgment.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page to send a concise pitch with a working title, a short summary and any relevant links or source references. Do not send a complete commissioned-length draft unless invited; proposals are reviewed for fit and clarity, and a submission does not guarantee publication.
